2025 Volunteer Awards

Volunteer of the Year​

This award recognizes volunteers who have shown exceptional personal and skill growth over the past year. It honours individuals who have embraced feedback, taken on new challenges, and significantly developed their abilities and contributions. One youth (under 18) and one adult (18 and over) will be selected each year.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated Growth – Shows clear improvement in skills, confidence, and volunteer contributions.

  • Willingness to Learn – Actively seeks out opportunities for development and accepts feedback positively.

  • Expanded Contributions – Takes on new roles or responsibilities with success.

  • Positive Transformation – Becomes a stronger, more impactful member of the volunteer team.

  • Minimum 20 hours of volunteering at GPS
