Wonderful sing and dances
Gifted People Services invited groups and associations from all walks of life to celebrate the Multicultural Festival. There were a variety of performances, including Western Jazz piano, Xinjiang dance, Mongolian dance, Peking Opera, and other multi-ethnic dances, and a jazz piano solo by local singer Kory lit up the room.
多民族美食和艺术摊位
The event invited more than ten groups of food, handicrafts, tea culture and other stalls representing ethnic groups, and the site was crowded with people happily experiencing the flavors of different regions and enjoying a feast for the palate and the eyes.
2023 Event Highlight
律动加拿大庆典
本次多元文化节庆活动得到了加拿大国庆节击鼓组织的大力支持，为活动提供了300个摇铃，并分发给现场所有参与者。活动伊始，腰鼓队引领全场，300余人一起敲锣打鼓，以独特的方式庆祝加拿大157岁生日。

This event received support from three levels of government. Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau; Ontario Premier, Doug Ford; MP Mary Ng; MP Shaun Chen; MP Paul Chiang; MP Jean Yip; MP Francesco Sorbara; MPP Logan Kanapathi; MPP Billy Pang; Mayor of Markham, Frank Scarpitti; Regional Councillor of Markham, Alan Ho; and Councillor of Markham, Isa Lee all sent congratulatory messages to express their good wishes for the successful event, though they could not attend in person. MP Shaun Chen made a special visit to the event to deliver a speech, praising the Gifted People Services for their contributions to the community's multiculturalism, and presented a certificate to the center.
