“Magical Play, Joyful Childhood” – A Children’s Day Celebration by Gifted People Services × Doodoo Kids

On Monday, May 19, 2024 — during the Victoria Day long weekend — Gifted People Services partnered with Doodoo Kids to host a vibrant and laughter-filled Children’s Day celebration at one of Markham’s largest indoor playgrounds.

Community Joy
The event was completely free and welcomed over 100 local families. Kids explored colorful ball pits, giant slides, trampolines, sensory zones, balance beams, and imaginative play areas — all designed to spark movement, creativity, and sensory development. For many, it was two hours of pure magic.
Surprises Everywhere
Every participating child received a surprise gift bag and a special snack pack — generously sponsored by Toonie Eatsand Goody Day. These thoughtful touches brought extra delight to the day.
Special Guests : We were honored to receive a congratulatory letter from MP Logan Kanapathi, recognizing Gifted People Services’ work supporting children with special needs. Councillor Alan Ho also joined us in person, delivering heartfelt wishes and highlighting the importance of inclusive community programming.
