5k Charity Walk 2026
Autism affects millions of individuals and families worldwide. Many autistic children, youth, and adults face challenges in communication, social participation, education, employment, and independent living. With the right support, opportunities, and understanding, autistic individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
At Gifted People Services, we are committed to empowering autistic individuals and their families through educational programs, life-skills development, social opportunities, employment support, and community engagement initiatives. Our mission is to build a more inclusive society where every individual is valued, respected, and supported to reach their full potential.

Why We Walk
Ontario provides treatment grants for children with autism; however, 60,000 children with autism are currently waiting for OAP (Ontario Autism Program) funding. For many families, the wait from application to receiving funding can be 3–5 years, or even longer. But a child's growth cannot wait. Early intervention and continuous treatment are crucial for helping children with autism build communication, social, learning, and life skills. However, the high cost of treatment and the long wait place immense pressure on many families.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
💙 Funds raised in this event will be used to help children awaiting OAP (Outcome-Based Care) funding receive treatment and related support services, ensuring they receive timely assistance during critical developmental stages.
Your participation is not just supporting a charitable event, but also helping a child seize a golden opportunity for growth and giving a family hope.
Because for children, growth has no pause button.
Some opportunities cannot wait.
Every step is crucial. Every donation is meaningful.
