Why Support?

Your support and donations will be used to help with the cost of each room's rent and facilities,
which means we will have less of a burden to seek funding elsewhere to be more
focused and provide more quality programs. Moreover, we are expanding and opening our
new Markham campus in September 2023, which means we need your support more than ever.
Through your support and donation, you stand side by side with us, giving us the opportunity
and enabling us to achieve our value and mission, of providing lasting help for children with special
needs.

How to Support

Sponsors can choose from the following donation options:

1. $3000 per year / One Therapy Room

  • Therapy Room: There are 7 therapy rooms, each therapy room provides a safe and functional 1-to-1 setting for children to receive their therapy sessions.

 

The following benefits will be provided:

  • A donner sign will be placed on the door of the therapy room.

  • Displaying your name or organization name and logo on our Donner Appreciation Wall.

  • Displaying your name or organization's name and logo on the GPS website’s Donor
    Appreciation page, and logo links to your website.

  • You can use our space to hold workshops once per half year.

  • You will be invited to our regular events (such as charity concerts, anniversary
    gala, multicultural day events, etc).

2. $5000 per year / One Function Room

  • Sensory Room: This room is double the size of a therapy room and is a therapeutic space where children can learn fine and gross motor skills and to learn self-regulating behaviors through systematically planned physical activities.

  • Social Group Room: This room will be used for students working on speech, social skills, life skills, and academic subjects, based on their personalized education plans with specialized and individualized 1 on 1 instruction.

  • Music Room: This room is the space for our music program and 1 on 1 piano lessons, which will be provided by our certified music therapist.

  • School Group Room： This room will be set up as a school classroom and used for students working on speech, social skills, life skills, and academic subjects.

  • Assessment Room: This room will be used for providing assessment and consultation to kids and families.

  • Computer Room (Booked): A space for our students to learn IT skills.

The following benefits will be provided:

  • An adorner sign will be placed on the door of the function room.

  • Displaying your name or organization's name and logo on our Donner Appreciation Wall.

  • Displaying your name or organization's name and logo on the GPS website’s homepage and Donor Appreciation page, and logo links to your website.

  • You can use our space to hold workshops once every 3 months.

  • You will be invited to our regular events (such as charity concerts, anniversary
    gala, multicultural day event, etc).

3. $6000 per year / Multi-function Area (Adopted)

  • The Multi-function Area is around 1500 sq feet and is the space for us to hold different kinds of events, such as parent support groups, movie nights, workshops, etc.
