Event highlights
In the vibrant month of April—World Autism Awareness Month—a heartwarming charity event conveying understanding and respect through music was held. The "Blue Star Shines" charity concert, hosted by Gifted People Services, concluded successfully on April 5th, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. This event not only called for greater societal attention to the autistic community but also showcased their genuine talents on stage, allowing more people to see, understand, and respect their unique brilliance.
This event also received support and blessings from representatives of the three levels of government, who all expressed their concern and support for public welfare and the autistic community.MP Tim Hodgson was present, as was Judy, representing MP Shaun Chen. MPP Aris Babikian presented Eric with a congratulatory certificate, and MPP Logan Kanapathi also sent a congratulatory document. Markham City Councillor Isa Lee was also present to offer her congratulations, and Richmond Hill Councillor Simon Cui attended and performed a piece of music as a gesture of goodwill.
The successful hosting of this event would not have been possible without the support of caring individuals from all walks of life. Special thanks to Steinway Piano Gallery for providing the venue, and to all sponsors for their support, including TD Bank, Tianxin Financial Group, Sun Life Financial, Tzu Chi, the New Power Entrepreneurs Association of Canada, Lion Education, and Xiangyu Xianglei.
