“Magical Play, Joyful Childhood” was a free Children’s Day event co-hosted by Gifted People Services and Doodoo Kids on May 19, 2024, in Markham. Over 100 families joined for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and inclusive play, celebrating community, childhood, and the power of joy.

Light Blur Star Charity Event

Co-organised with CCBAG, this heartfelt event brings us together in the warmth of spring to support children with autism. Through music, love, and community, we aim to raise funds and awareness, celebrating neurodiversity and lighting up the inner world of these children from the stars.

April is Autism Awareness Month—a time to foster understanding and support. Gifted People Services is hosting an Autism Summit at Scarborough Civic Centre, uniting professionals, educators, and families to share insights and drive inclusive change.

Christmas Party

The party was very lively. Presents were piled up like a hill under the Christmas tree. The inflatable castle was a paradise for children. All the stalls offered delicious and fun things to welcome children.

Government Grant Receiving Recognition Event

Gifted People Service were ecstatic with the recent announcement of its $135,500 capital grant coming from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillim Foundation (OTF) .
The money will help provide kids with special needs with accessibility upgrades in therapeutic spaces, sensory rooms, and bathrooms to enhance the use of the organization’s spaces and facilities. Learn More
Traces from the stars

This art exhibition features works by young artist Jayden Chen, who has shown a passion for drawing from a very young age. His mother says Jayden draws every day, sometimes copying other artworks, and other times drawing cartoons or toys. Jayden has his own preferences in drawing; he often deviates from the teacher's instructions to use his imagination and draw what he loves. He thinks and draws simultaneously, transforming what he sees into unique creations through his own mental processing. Learn More
